The final rule is effective December 10, 2012. 19 CFR Parts 4, 24, 101, 102, 127, 159, 161 and 177 U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) periodically reviews its regulations to ensure that they are current, correct, and consistent. Through this review process, CBP has discovered a number of discrepancies. This document amends various sections of title 19 of the Code of Federal Regulations (19 CFR) to correct those discrepancies.
