§ 538.210
Prohibited transactions relating to petroleum and petrochemical industries.
(a)
Except as otherwise authorized, and notwithstanding any contract entered into or any license or permit granted prior to October 13, 2006, all transactions by United States persons relating to the petroleum or petrochemical industries in Sudan, including, but not limited to, oilfield services and oil or gas pipelines, are prohibited.
(b)
Except as otherwise authorized, the facilitation by a United States person, including but not limited to brokering activities, of any transaction relating to the petroleum or petrochemical industries in Sudan is prohibited.
