Effective date: November 20, 2012. Comment date: Interested parties should submit written comments to the Regulatory Secretariat on or before January 22, 2013 to be considered in the formation of a final rule. 48 CFR Parts 4 and 17 DoD, GSA, and NASA are issuing an interim rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to add new requirements specific to the acquisition of supplies and services by nondefense agencies on behalf of the DoD. This rule implements a section of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008, with later amendments.
