Static sheen test
(hh) Static sheen test means the standard test procedure that has been developed for this industrial subcategory for the purpose of demonstrating compliance with the requirement of no discharge of free oil. The methodology for performing the static sheen test is presented in EPA Method 1617, which is published as an appendix to subpart A of this part and in Analytic Methods for the Oil and Gas Extraction Point Source Category, EPA821R11004. See paragraph (uu) of this section.
