(2) Appropriate congressional committees The term “appropriate congressional committees” means— (A) the committees specified in section 14(2) of the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 ( Public Law 104–172 ; 50 U.S.C. 1701 note); and (B) the Committee on Armed Services of the Senate and the Committee on Armed Services of the House of Representatives.
