(2) Eligible entity The term “eligible entity” means— (A) a State; (B) a unit of local government; (C) a tribal government; (D) a tribal organization; (E) a victim service provider; (F) an institution of higher education (as defined in section 1001(a) of title 20 ; and (G) a private or public nonprofit organization, including— (i) a tribal nonprofit organization; and (ii) a faith-based nonprofit organization.
