Effective Date of Repeal
Repeal effective Sept. 1, 1962, see section 106(e) ofPub. L. 87–730, set out as an Effective Date note under section
60j of this title.
Prohibition Against Payment of Longevity Increase After September 1, 1962
Section 106(c) ofPub. L. 87–730provided in part that no longevity increase payable under authority of this section prior to Sept. 1, 1962, shall be payable on or after Sept. 1, 1962.
