2009—Subsec. (a)(1). Pub. L. 111–5struck out “; provided that 49 percent of the appropriated funds shall be distributed using the definition of eligible unit of local government-alternative 1 in section

(3)(A) of this title and 49 percent of the appropriated funds shall be distributed using the definition of eligible unit of local government-alternative 2 in section
17151
(3)(B) of this title” after “2012”.
