Cheryl is a J.D. candidate for the Class of 2013 at Cornell Law School. She graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with dual degrees in International Studies and Political Science. During the summer of 2011, she worked for the Cornell e-Rulemaking Initiative, which aims to increase public participation in the federal rulemaking process. Cheryl is also the Advocacy Week Chair for Cornell Advocates for Human Rights and is an associate on the International Law Journal.
