James is a J.D. candidate for the Class of 2010 at Cornell Law School. He spent the summers of 2008 and 2009 as a summer associate at Kirkland & Ellis in New York City. In 2007, James graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Hamilton College. There, he double majored in Chemistry and Mathematics, receiving honors in both as well as induction into Sigma Xi. As an undergraduate, he conducted research in computational physical chemistry and graph theory. His legal interests include intellectual property litigation and torts.
