- Kate is a J.D candidate for the Class of 2011 at Cornell Law School. Kate spent the summer of 2010 at Brooklyn Family Defense Project helping to defend parents in child welfare cases. She spent the summer of 2009 as a legal intern at South Brooklyn Legal Services in the Comprehensive Rights Unit, where she worked on housing, benefits and family law cases. Prior to law school, Kate interned for the New York Civil Liberties Union and the New York League of Conservation Voters.
