The UR plan must provide that written notice of any adverse final decision on the need for admission under § 456.123 (e) through (g) is sent to -
(a) The hospital administrator;
(b) The attending physician;
(c) The Medicaid agency;
(d) The beneficiary; and
(e) If possible, the next of kin or sponsor.

The following are ALL rules, proposed rules, and notices (chronologically) published in the Federal Register relating to 42 CFR Part 456 after this date.
This proposed rule would address application of certain requirements set forth in the Public Health Service Act, as amended by the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, to coverage offered by Medicaid managed care organizations, Medicaid Alternative Benefit Plans, and Children's Health Insurance Programs.
