(a) A line drawn from the easternmost extremity of Kendall Head to latitude 44°54′45″ N. longitude 66°58′30″ W.; thence to the range marker located in approximate position latitude 44°51′45″ N. longitude 66°59″ W.

(b) A line drawn from West Quoddy Head Light to latitude 44°48.5′ N. longitude 66°56.4′ W. (Sail Rock Lighted Whistle Buoy “1”); thence to latitude 44°37.5′ N. longitude 67°09.8′ W. (Little River Lighted Whistle Buoy “2LR”); thence to latitude 44°14.5′ N. longitude 67°57.2′ W.
