Export elevator. Any grain elevator, warehouse, or other storage or handling facility in the United States from which bulk or sacked export grain is loaded (A) aboard a carrier in which the grain is shipped from the United States to any place outside thereof, or (B) into a container for shipment to an export port location where the grain and the container will be loaded aboard a carrier in which it will be shipped from the United States to any place outside thereof; and (ii) which has been approved by the Service as a facility where Class X or Class Y weighing of grain may be obtained.
