Storage vessel

Storage vessel means a tank or other vessel that is used to store organic liquids that contain one or more of the organic HAP's listed in table 2 to this subpart and that has been assigned, according to the procedures in 63.100, to a chemical manufacturing process unit that is subject to this subpart. Storage vessel does not include:
(i) Vessels permanently attached to motor vehicles such as trucks, railcars, barges, or ships;
(ii) Vessels with capacities smaller than 38 cubic meters;
(iii) Except for storage vessels in ethylene oxide service, vessels storing organic liquids that contain organic hazardous air pollutants only as impurities;
(iv) Bottoms receiver tanks;
(v) Surge control vessels; or
(vi) Wastewater storage tanks. Wastewater storage tanks are covered under the wastewater provisions.

Scoping language
