Health benefits advisors

Health benefits advisors (HBA). Designated individuals at naval facilities who are responsible for advising and assisting beneficiaries covered in this part concerning medica1 and dental benefits in uniformed services facilities and under CHAMPUS. They also provide information regarding Veterans' Administration, Medicare, MEDICAID, and such other local health programs known to be available to beneficiaries (see 728.4(n)).
