Nonelective employer contribution. Anonelective employer contributionis a contribution made by an eligible employer for the participant with respect to which the participant does not have the choice to receive the contribution in cash or property. Solely for purposes of section 457 and 1.4572 through 1.45711, the termnonelective employer contributionincludes employer contributions that would be described in section 401(m) if they were contributions to a qualified plan.
