Gross credit exposure

Gross credit exposure means, with respect to any credit transaction, the credit exposure of the covered company before adjusting, pursuant to 252.74, for the effect of any eligible collateral, eligible guarantee, eligible credit derivative, eligible equity derivative, other eligible hedge, and any unused portion of certain extensions of credit.
