Geologic repository

Geologic repository means a system which is intended to be used for, or may be used for, the disposal of radioactive wastes in excavated geologic media. A geologic repository includes: The geologic repository operations area, and (2) the portion of the geologic setting that provides isolation of the radioactive waste.
