Hospital
Hospital means any entity that qualifies as a hospital under section 1861 of the Act, as a psychiatric hospital under section 1861(f) of the Act, or as a critical access hospital under section 1861(mm)(1) of the Act, and refers to any separate legally organized operating entity plus any subsidiary, related entity, or other entities that perform services for the hospital's patients and for which the hospital bills. However, a hospital does not include entities that perform services for hospital patients under arrangements with the hospital.
