DSC
Digital selective calling (DSC). A synchronous system developed by the International Telecommunication Union Radiocommunication (ITUR) Sector, used to establish contact with a station or group of stations automatically by means of radio. The operational and technical characteristics of this system are contained in ITUR M.49313 and ITUR M.5419 (both incorporated by reference, see 80.7) (see subpart W of this part.)
