parent of a foreign bank means a company of which the foreign bank is a subsidiary. Animmediate parentof a foreign bank is a company of which the foreign bank is a direct subsidiary. Anultimate parentof a foreign bank is a parent of the foreign bank that is not the subsidiary of any other company.
