Critical use allowance

Critical use allowance (CUA) means the privilege granted by this subpart to produce or import one kilogram of methyl bromide for an approved critical use during the specified control period. A person's critical use allowances are the total of the allowances obtained under 82.8(c) as may be modified under 82.12 (transfer of allowances).
