Gross credit exposure
Gross credit exposure means, with respect to any credit transaction, the credit exposure of the covered company before adjusting, pursuant to 238.154, for the effect of any eligible collateral, eligible guarantee, eligible credit derivative, eligible equity derivative, other eligible hedge, and any unused portion of certain extensions of credit.

Scoping language
Unless defined in this section, terms that are set forth in 238.2 and used in this subpart have the definitions assigned in 238.2. For purposes of this subpart:
