Real property

Real property(1) In general. The term real property includes the following three categories of property: Land and unserved natural products of the land, improvements, and personal property associated with the use of real property. The three categories of real property are defined in subparagraphs (2), (3), and (4) of this paragraph (b). Local law definitions will not be controlling for purposes of determining the meaning of the term real property as it is used in sections 897, 1445, and 6039C and the regulations thereunder.
