Destruction.
Destruction. Destruction means the destruction of articles or merchandise to the extent that they have no commercial value. For purposes of 19 U.S.C. 1313, (b), (c), and (j), destruction also includes a process by which materials are recovered from imported merchandise or from an article manufactured from imported merchandise, as provided for in 19 U.S.C. 1313(x).
