Total of direct and indirect emissions

Total of direct and indirect emissions means the sum of direct and indirect emissions increases and decreases caused by the Federal action; i.e., the net emissions considering all direct and indirect emissions. The portion of emissions which are exempt or presumed to conform under 93.153 , (d), (e), or (f) are not included in the total of direct and indirect emissions. The total of direct and indirect emissions includes emissions of criteria pollutants and emissions of precursors of criteria pollutants.
