State-regulated insurer

State-regulated insurer means a person regulated by a state insurance regulator as defined in section 1002 of the Dodd-Frank Act (12 U.S.C. 5481(22)), and any subsidiary of such a person, other than a regulated foreign subsidiary and regulated foreign affiliate.
