Heat input
Heat input means the total gross calorific value [where gross calorific value is measured by ASTM Method D24002, D182694 (Reapproved 2003), D586504, D586510, or E71187 (Reapproved 2004) (incorporated by reference, see 49.123)] of all fuels burned.
