Indian tribe
(18) for purposes of subchapter II, the term “Indian tribe” means— (A) a federally recognized Indian tribe; or (B) an Alaskan Native organization; that has a law enforcement function, as determined by the Secretary of the Interior in consultation with the Attorney General;
