pension and other retirement benefits
(1) Pension and other retirement benefits The term “pension and other retirement benefits” means private, civil service, and other public pensions and retirement benefits, including benefits provided under— (A) the Social Security program under title II of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 401 et seq.); (B) the railroad retirement program under the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 ( 45 U.S.C. 231 et seq.); (C) the government retirement benefits programs under the Civil Service Retirement System set forth in chapter 83 of title 5, the Federal Employees Retirement System set forth in chapter 84 of title 5, or other Federal retirement systems; or (D) employee pension benefit plans as defined in section 1002(2) of title 29 .
