(6) For purposes of this subsection— (A) the terms “finally convicted” and “final conviction” refer to a conviction (i) which has not been appealed and is no longer appealable because the time for taking an appeal has expired, or (ii) which has been appealed and the appeals process for which is completed; (B) the term “Member” has the meaning given such term by section 2106, notwithstanding section 8401(20); and (C) the term “child” has the meaning given such term by section 8441.
