(1) Designated congressional committees The term “designated congressional committees” means— (A) the Committee on Appropriations, the Committee on Armed Services, and the Committee on International Relations of the House of Representatives; and (B) the Committee on Appropriations, the Committee on Armed Services, and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate.
