Scuncio Chevrolet, Inc. v. Salandra, R.I. Super. (1988)
The plaintiff worked for the defendant selling cars. Following the termination of her employment, she filed a complaint with the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights. The Commission found that the grounds of her termination was pretextual, and that she was terminated because of her gender. She was entitled to back pay, fringe benefits, interest, and that the defendant was to cease and desist its unlawful employment practices.
