• Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights on the Establishment of the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights , 2004 Establishes the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights.
• Protocol to the African Charter on the Rights of Women in Africa , 2005 Protects women's rights, including by prohibiting female genital mutilation and all other forms of violence against women.
