Alaska Statutes § 11.41.455 et seq. Sexual Exploitation of Minors

Alaska Stat. § 11.41.455 prohibits a person from knowingly inducing, employing, or recording a child under 18 in sexually explicit conduct including penetration, lewd touching, masturbation, bestiality, sexual masochism or sadism, or exhibition. It also holds a parent, guardian, or custodian criminally liable if they knowingly permit a child to engage in such conduct for purposes of recording or depiction. The offense is a class A felony, or an unclassified felony if the child is under 13 or the offender has prior convictions. Subsequent sections expand related offenses: § 11.41.458 makes it a felony in the first degree to masturbate during indecent exposure under certain aggravating conditions, while § 11.41.460 establishes misdemeanor liability for knowingly exposing one’s genitals in a manner likely to alarm another. In addition, § 11.61.118 defines first‑degree harassment to include offensive physical contact involving bodily fluids or touching intimate parts through clothing; that offense is a class A misdemeanor under specified circumstances.
