Penal Code, Article 209 Slavery (2024)

In Romania, the punishment for placing or keeping a person in a state of slavery and human trafficking is punishable by five to twelve years in prison, along with the prohibition of the exercise of certain rights.

Pedeapsa pentru punerea sau ținerea unei persoane în stare de sclavie și traficul de sclavi se este închisoarea de la 5 la 12 ani și interzicerea exercitării unor drepturi.
