Supreme Decree No. 009-2016-MIMP and Supreme Decree No. 004-2019-MIMP Amendment to the Regulations of Law No. 30364, Law to Prevent, Punish and Eradicate Violence Against Women and Members of the Family Group

Supreme Decree No. 009-2016-MIMP and Supreme Decree No. 004-2019-MIMP are the regulations that set forth the framework and procedures for implementing Law No. 30364 to prevent, penalize and eradicate violence against women and family group members. The regulations detail the processes related to the submission and intake of complaints and describe preventive and protective measures. The regulations set forth the responsibilities of governmental actors in promoting and guaranteeing victims’ rights and access to services. The law also sets forth the framework for the national system for the prevention, punishment, and eradication of violence against women and family group members and the single registry of victims and aggressors.
