The Constitutional enshrinement of gender equality clarifies that the right to marry or remarry is a fundamental right, regardless of sex. The Court also held that wills and testaments requiring a woman to remain single or widowed were unconstitutional.

La consagración Constitucional de la igualdad de género establece que el derecho a contraer matrimonio o a volver a contraerlo es un derecho fundamental, independientemente del sexo. La Corte dictaminó que los testamentos que obligan a una mujer a permanecer soltera o viuda son inconstitucionales.
