Ala. Admin. Code r. 482-1-055-.02 - Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to set forth rules and procedural requirements which the Commissioner deems necessary to carry out the provisions of the Alabama Insurance Holding Company System Regulatory Act, Sections 27-29-1, et seq., Code of Ala. 1975, hereinafter referred to as "the Act." The information called for by this chapter is hereby declared to be necessary and appropriate in the public interest and for the protection of the policyholders in this State.
