Ala. Admin. Code r. 770-X-9-.09 - Adequate Service Requirements

(1) Wastewater Management Entities shall have operation and maintenance (O&M) procedures in place in order to ensure proper operation of wastewater systems. Such procedures shall be designed to ensure reliable sewer service and to minimize system O&M costs while complying with operating permit requirements. These procedures shall require the periodic pumping of interceptor tanks, treatment facility media replacement, preventive maintenance, and regular system inspections, at a minimum. These procedures shall apply equally to all wastewater system components located on customer premises.
(2) Wastewater Management Entities shall have provisions in place to adequately respond to unscheduled service calls from their customers.
(3) Wastewater Management Entities shall keep a record of all interruptions of service to their customers, including a statement of time, duration, and cause of such interruptions.
