Ala. Admin. Code r. 800-1-3-.12 - Purchases
(1) The Division of Purchasing and Stores of the State of Alabama will serve as the official purchasing department of the Board of Control for all items or purchases costing over $2,000.
(2) The secretary-treasurer is authorized to purchase directly items up to $2,000. Sufficient records of all such purchases shall be maintained and available for inspection for the fiscal year in which said transactions occurred.
(3) The secretary-treasurer is authorized to transfer from line item to line item up to $5,000 without prior Board approval. Such transfers shall be reported to the Board of Control at the next meeting following such action.
