2 AAC 35.132 - Place for filing with the division or the commissioner of administration
(a) When a
person is required to make a filing with the division under AS 39.35 or this
chapter, including a notice of appeal, the person may make that filing by
hand-delivering or mailing the filing to any office of the division. When a
person is required to make a filing with the commissioner of administration
under AS
39.35.522, the person may make that filing by
hand-delivering or mailing the filing to office of the commissioner in
Juneau.
(b) A filing made by a
person to the person's employer does not constitute a valid filing with the
division or with the commissioner of administration. If the employer forwards
the filing to the division, if that is the appropriate place of filing, or to
the commissioner of administration, if the commissioner's office is the
appropriate place of filing, a valid filing is then effected.
