7 AAC 100.420 - Disabled adults receiving child OASDI benefits
To be eligible for Medicaid under 7 AAC 100.002(b) (6) and this section, an individual must
(1) be 18 years of
age or older;
(2) have received SSI
or APA benefits on the basis of blindness or a disability before the individual
was 22 years of age;
(3) have lost
eligibility for SSI or APA on or after July 1, 1987, when the individual's
income increased
(A) because the individual
became eligible for Social Security benefits as the child of an OASDI
recipient; or
(B) because of an
increase in OASDI benefits received as the child of an OASDI recipient;
and
(4) be able to
financially qualify for SSI or APA if OASDI benefits were
disregarded.
