8 AAC 77.045 - Suspension, revocation, or denial of a certificate of operation
(a) A certificate
of operation for an elevator will be suspended, revoked, or denied if the
authorized elevator inspector as a result of an inspection determines that the
elevator does not meet the safety requirements of
AS
18.60.800 or this chapter and, in the case of
a suspension or revocation of a certificate of operation, that the violation
poses a present danger before the expiration date of that
certificate.
(b) A person whose
certificate of operation has been suspended, revoked, or denied may appeal the
decision to the commissioner in the manner set out in
8
AAC 77.130.
