EXCEPTIONS:

(1) In compliance with deer archery season on federal refuges.
(2) In compliance with applicable WMA regulations.

PENALTY: $200.00 to $500.00.

02.02 GUN DEER SEASON (1982). It shall be unlawful to take or attempt to take deer with fireanns other than during the declared open seasons as specified herein:

November 6, 1982 through November 14. 1981 November 26. 1982 through November 27, 1982. December 13, 1982 through December 18, 1982. (Ref: 02.03 Muzzle-Loading Deer Season). PENALTY: $200.00 to $500.00.

02.03 1982-83 PERMIT MUZZLE-LOADING DEER SEASONS. It shall be unlawful to take or attempt to take deer with muzzle-loading firearms other than during the declared open permit muzzie-loadmg deer seasons as specified herein: 1982-83 Permit Muzzle-Loading Deer Season:

October 23-31. 1982; Either-sex in Zones 1. 3.5,9,12.13,14.15,16,17.19 and 20. Bucks only in rest of State. Except Zone 4 and certain WMA's closed. 1982-83 Permit Muzzle-Loading Deer Season:

December 20, 1982 through January 2,1983. Either-sex in Zones 1,3,5,9.12.13.14,15,16,17 19 and 20. Bucks only in rest of State, Except Zone 4 and certain WMA's closed. Ref: 21.04, 21.04-A, and 02.14(A).

EXCEPTION:

(1) In areas open during regular gun deer seasons.

PENALTY: $2t)0.00 to $500.00.

02.04 SPECIAL DEER CROSSBOW SEASON(1982). It shall be unlawful to take or attempt to take

deer with the use of crossbow other than during the period of October 1 through October 31, 1982; Statewide, except certain WMA's closed. Ref: Section 08.09.

02.05 WILD TURKEY SEASONS (1982-83). It shall be unlawful to take or attempt to take Wild Turkey other than during the declared open seasons as specified herein: 1982-83 Wild Turkey Archery Season: October 1, 1982 through February 28, 1983. Statewide, except closed in Zone 4, Columbia, Lafayette, Miller and Little River counties, certain WMA 's and Weddington Unit of Ozark National Forest. 1983 Spring Wild Turkey'Gun Season: April 1, 1983 through May 7. 1983, in Zones 1,2.3, 5,6,7,8,9,10.11,12,13,14,15,16,17,19 and 20.

Closed in Zone 4 and Lawrence, Independence, Jackson, Faulkner, White, Woodruff, Lonoke, Little River, Miller. Lafayette, Columbia, Union, Ashley, Washington and Cleveland Counties. -PENALTY: $200.00 to $500.00.

EXCEPTIONS:

(1) Bonus deer taken in compliance with Commission Code 08.01 (Arcliery Permit Requirements):
(2) Bonus deer taken in compliance with Commission Code 02.03 (Muzzle-loading Deer Seasons).
(B) Quail: Daily bag limit: 8; Possession limit,16.
(C) Rabbit: Daly bag Umit: 8; Possession limit,16 .
(D) Raccoon: Daily bag limit: 4; Possession

(F) wad Turkey:

Spring Wild Turkey Season(Gun): April J,

1983 through May 7, J983.

Season Limit: In zones open, two (2) gob-

biers only by any legal method; Three

(3) gobblers, provided that one (1) of

the three (3) was taken and checked in

either Zone 11 or 20. Ref: Commission

Code 02.05.

Fall Turkey Season (Archery): October 1, 1982 through February 28, 1983. Open statewide except closed in Zone 4, Cohimbia, Lafayette, Miller and Little River counties, certain WMA 's and Weddington Unit of the Ozark National Forest,

Two either-sex turkeys, except three either-sex turkeys may be taken if at least one is taken and checked in Zone 20.

Combined Fall Gun and Archery Turkey Season Limit: Three turkeys.

PENALTY: $150.00 to $500.00, and hunting privileges may be suspended for a period of up to one year.

02.15 BEAR HUNTING SEASON. It shaU be unlawful to take, attempt to take, or possess bear other than during the declared open season in areas as specified herein and the use of bait or dogs in said areas is prohibited.

Bear Season: October 16, 1982 through October 22, 1982 in Zones 1,2,5 and 11 excluding Sylamore, Howard County, Buffalo River, Madison County, Muddy Creek, and Gulf Mountain WMA's, Hobbs State Management Area and Lake Greeson Public Hunting Area Closed,
