Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 13, § 226.40 - Audit Requirements
(a) The department may conduct audits of the Interstate Carrier Program
partner's program activities even if the Interstate Carrier Program partner's permit is revoked, suspended, or expired.
(b) The Interstate Carrier Program partner shall make available to the department, at the Interstate Carrier
Program partner's principal place of business during normal business hours, all of its records and reports required to be retained, immediately upon
a request from the department.
(c) The Interstate Carrier Program partner shall make available its
owners, managers, business representatives and employees to the department during any and all audits.
(d)
The Interstate Carrier Program partner shall pay the actual amount of the salary and other compensation paid to department staff and actual expenses
for travel, meals, and lodging for the department staff incurred during the audit within 30 calendar days of receipt of an invoice from the
department.
