Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 14, § 4330 - Pesticides
(a) No person shall
disperse or otherwise apply any pesticide within any unit or portion thereof,
whether to the air, water, ground, or vegetation, unless prior written approval
has been obtained from the Department.
(b) Exception is made in the instance of
dispersal within enclosed buildings, tents, tent trailers, or within any
vehicle or boat containing living or sleeping quarters, or the use outdoors
within ten (10) feet of the table, stove, tent or food lockers, of hand-held
finger-operated aerosol dispensers or hand-operated plunger-type dispensers
with net contents not to exceed twenty (20) ounces and containing any of the
following pesticides: Pyrethrine, Allethrin, Piperonyl butoxide, Malathion,
DDVP (Dichlorves Vapona), Dibrom, Rotenone (Derrin, Cube
Root).
