Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 14, § 4359 - Riding or Pack Animals
(a) No
person shall ride, drive, lead, or keep a saddle or pack animal in a unit, or
portion thereof, except on such roads, beaches, trails, or areas so designated
by the Department.
(b) No saddle or
pack animal shall be hitched to any tree, shrub, or structure in any manner
that might cause damage thereto.
(c)
No person shall ride any animal in a manner that might endanger life or limb of
any animal, person or property;
(d)
No person shall allow their animal to stand unattended or insecurely
tied.
(e) All persons opening a
closed gate shall close the same after passing through it.
