Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 15, § 3504.2 - Highest Control or Risk Classification Parole Reporting Requirements
(a)
Incarcerated persons meeting the criteria for assignment to the highest control
or risk classification as provided in subsections
3504.1(a)-(a)(2),
upon release from confinement in a State facility, are required to report to
their assigned parole unit within two days (48 hours) from time of release.
(1) Incarcerated persons shall not be
released to the community from a State facility on a Friday or the day before a
legal holiday.
(2) If the
incarcerate person's release date falls on a Friday or the day before a legal
holiday, the incarcerated person shall have their scheduled release date
adjusted.
(b) For the
purposes of subsection
3504.2(a)(1)
above, recognized legal holidays are:
(1) New
Years Day
(2) Martin Luther King
Day
(3) President's Day
(4) Cesar Chavez Day
(5) Memorial Day
(6) Independence Day
(7) Labor Day
(8) Veteran's Day
(9) Thanksgiving Day
(10) Day after Thanksgiving
(11) Christmas Day
(c) Any scheduled release date that is
adjusted to a date that would not permit the incarcerated person to report to
their assigned parole unit within 48 hours of release during normal business
hours, will require the incarcerated person to be seen by a parole agent during
a weekend or holiday, within 48 hours of release.
